Product Description

Standing on elegant tapering legs with a slight cabriole and pad feet this table has the most unusual feature of a lockable lift-up top for the storage of valuables. The top is veneered in quartered burr veneer of glorious color with herring-bone stringing and broad cross-banding. The front panel with matching cross banding and stringing enclosing six finely figured panels. With original quatre foil escutcheon and lock over molded and shaped cross-banded apron (Hinges possibly replaced).
