A very good small mug after an English Georgian model with an applied beaded rim, above three reeded bands, an angular scroll handle above a base with a border of palmettes in the Regency style. Included in the pseudo marks is a distinctive copy of the makers mark “I.B” indicating that the craftsman carefully copied an original example.
The mug is engraved in script “Eliza L. Critchey No. 35”
