This particular design was rather popular and was produced well into the 20th century. This set, however, is an early example with the principal pieces stamped “Designed by Dr. C. Dresser” along with the maker’s mark for Hukin and Heath. The pieces also have the design number 2109 and the product registration mark for the 9th October 1879.
An early and fine set.
Hukin and Heath, c. 1880
Condition: Fine with replaced caning to both the kettle and tea pot handles.
