Sometimes referred to as a spice cabinet this exceptional piece is fitted with an intricate arrangement of thirty drawers, including numerous secret drawers. The rectangular top above a cavetto tablet centered frieze drawer, the arched fielded paneled cupboard enclosing an arrangement of twelve small drawers around an arched cupboard door embraced by a stop-fluted book spine cover to either side, the cupboard enclosing nine small drawers around an arched shelved open niche, the niche enclosing two small drawers, each “book” cover enclosing three further small drawers, on shaped apron descending to bracket feet.
The best early oak table cabinet I have seen.
