A rather special pair of George IV stands that are identical in form to the pair illustrated in Gillows of Lancaster and London 1730-1840, by Susan Stuart. Heavily weighted to provide stability these were initially designed to display silver chargers on a sideboard. They are now used frequently to display large Asian porcelain pieces. These must be considered to be very rare.
