Product Description

It is unusual to find tables of this type where the upper tier exceeds the size of the lower tier, although a number of examples are known. The exact use of this table is unknown, either a country dumbwaiter or an unusual cricket table. One feature that adds to its charm is the use of three well-turned legs rather than the usual tripod base.

English c.1780
